We are excited to start the Ultimate Season and get outside in this great MN Spring weather.  

Boys' Ultimate Tryouts:

When: 4:15-6:30PM Monday 3/16 and Wednesday 3/18

All ultimate athletes are expected to be at tryouts.  We are all looking forward to meeting new players, catching up with returners, and working hard to become better Ultimate athletes and people.  We are ready for another great Ultimate Season.

Winter Sports Banquet - Thursday, March 26!

Please join us for this year's potluck-style Winter Sports Banquet! We will have pictures, short coach speeches, and an awards presentation. Here are the details:

What: Charter Stars Winter Sports Banquet

When: Thursday, March 26

Time: 6:30pm - 8pm

Where: TCA Cafeteria

Potluck: Please bring an entree, side dish, or dessert to share!

Coach gifts: Suggested donation of $6 per player, payable to Ilse Larsen. I have purchased jackets/vests for each coach and am getting them embroidered with Charter Stars. Please don't mention anything to the coaches!

Ultimate Frisbee Registration due NOW!!

Calling all Ultimate Frisbee players in Grade 7-12!

We need to register our Ultimate Frisbee teams with MNYU, the organization that schedules our regular season games. That means we need players to complete registration NOW so we know our rosters for this season! Your Activity Fee check will not be cashed until the week of April 6.

Tryouts are the week of March 16 for the boys' team.

Tryouts are the week of March 23 for the girls' team.

To complete registration, you need the following items:

1. Activity Fee payable to GRS: $195 if you need a jersey OR $150 for returning players who have a jersey (turn in to the office)
2. 2015 Ultimate Frisbee Registration Form (turn in to the office)
3. USAU annual youth membership (complete online; cost is $31)
4. USAU Waiver and Release of Liability (complete online and submit)
5. USAU Medical Authorization Form (turn in to the office)
6. Sports Physical dated within the last 3 years (turn in to the office)
7. Health Questionnaire if the Sports Physical is older than January 1, 2015 (turn in to the office)
8. Asthma Action Plan if the player has asthma and/or carries an inhaler (turn in to the office)
9. Food Allergy Action Plan if the player has allergies requiring an Epi Pen or other modification (turn in to the office)
